SHORT-TERM STUDENT VISA- Study Period Less Than 11 Months for Saudis and Residents
Required documents to start processing the visa through our office
- A copy of the passport valid for more than 6 months.
- A copy of the national ID or residency permit from Absher.
- Previous visa, if available.
- A recent salary certificate in English, addressed to the embassy and stamped by the employer. It must be attested by the Chamber of Commerce if employed in the private sector. If employed in the government sector, only the employer’s stamp is required without attestation. The letter must include (full name – job title – date of employment – monthly salary – confirmation that the applicant is still employed).
- A recent bank statement in English for the last 6 months, stamped by the bank where the salary is deposited, with a closing balance of not less than SAR 15,000 per person. Online bank statements must meet three conditions to be accepted (bank name – stamp – barcode).
- A copy of proof of relationship (marriage certificate or birth certificate) translated into English if the applicants are a family.
- Study acceptance letter from the university or institute.
The required information will be sent by the assigned employee, and your response is needed to begin the process.
Procedures handled through our office
- Booking the appointment at the visa center.
- Completing the application form, submitting the application, paying the visa fees, and paying the insurance fees.
- Uploading documents to the website.
- Translation through a certified translation office.

- A recent salary certificate in English, addressed to the embassy and stamped by the employer, issued no more than 15 days before the appointment. It must be attested by the Chamber of Commerce if employed in the private sector. If employed in the government sector, only the employer’s stamp is required without attestation. - Travel medical insurance covering the full duration of stay in the country
- A copy of proof of relationship (marriage certificate or birth certificate) translated into English if the applicants are a family.
- A copy of previous visas (Schengen – others).
- Appointment confirmation document.
- Study acceptance letter from the university or institute.

Visa processing time is usually between 15 to 30 working days after the appointment. The duration may increase or decrease depending solely on the embassy’s decision

If the study period is less than 6 months, applicants should apply for an ETA permit for Saudi nationals, and a tourist visa for residents.
