Application Preparation Steps
- A copy of the passport valid for more than 3 months.
- A copy of the residence permit (Iqama).
- Previous visa (if available).
- One personal photo with a white background (size 5×5 cm).

Required documents
- The confirmation of the application form
- The original passport, valid for more than 3 months, signed by the applicant, with at least two blank pages.
- A recent bank statement in English, issued no more than 14 days before the appointment, covering the last 6 months, stamped by the bank where the salary is deposited, and showing a sufficient closing balance to cover the trip for each individual. For online bank statements to be accepted, they must include three requirements: Bank name-Bank stamp-Barcode
- A recent salary certificate in English, addressed to the Embassy and stamped by the employer, issued no more than 15 days before the appointment. If employed in the private sector, it must be attested by the Chamber of Commerce. If employed in the government sector, the employer's stamp is sufficient, with no Chamber of Commerce attestation required. The certificate must include: Full name-Job title-Date of employment-Monthly salary-Confirmation that the applicant is still employed
- Original residence permit (Iqama).
- Copies of previous visas (Schengen and others).
- Appointment confirmation letter.
- Two personal photos with a white background (size 5×5 cm).
Important notes
- he visa processing time is usually 5 to 7 working days after the appointment. However, the processing time may be shorter or longer, depending solely on the Embassy’s assessment.
- A form will be sent by the assigned employee to be completed by the visa applicant in order to begin the application procedures.
- The visa decision depends largely on the interview with the Embassy or Consulate officer.
- If the applicant is under 18 years old, unemployed, or does not have a bank account into which their salary is deposited, a first-degree relative must sponsor the applicant by providing their bank statement showing salary deposits for the last 6 months, along with a salary certificate attested by the Chamber of Commerce if employed in the private sector.
