Turkiye visa requirements for residents

Documents required to start the visa process
  • A copy of the passport, valid for more than 6 months.
  • Travel and return dates.
The required information will be sent by the assigned employee, and your response is needed to begin the process.
  • Booking an appointment at the Visa Application Center.
  • Initial reservations (flight and hotel), with the travel date scheduled at least **15 days after** the appointment date at the Visa Application Center.
  • Sponsorship letter or No Objection Letter for travel — required if the travelers are a **family** or a **minor**.
  • Translation of documents by an **authorized translation office**.
  • The visa application form will be completed by the **embassy representative** at the Visa Application Center.
  • The **original passport**, valid for more than 6 months, **signed by the applicant**, and containing at least **two blank pages**.
  • **Confirmed hotel booking** covering the entire stay in the destination country.
  • Confirmed round-trip flight booking.
  • Travel medical insurance, covering the full stay, to be arranged by the **embassy representative** at the Visa Application Center.
  • Recent bank statement in English, issued within 14 days before the appointment, covering the last 6 months, stamped by the bank where the salary is deposited, showing a closing balance of no less than 15,000 SAR per person. Online statements are acceptable only if they meet three conditions: the bank’s name, stamp, and barcode must appear clearly.
  • Recent salary certificate in English, addressed to the embassy and stamped by the employer, issued within 15 days before the appointment. If employed in the private sector, the letter must be attested by the Chamber of Commerce. If employed in the government sector, only the employer’s stamp is required (no attestation). The letter must include: name, job title, date of employment, monthly salary, and confirmation that the applicant is still employed.
  • Original residence permit (Iqama)
  • Copy of proof of relationship (marriage certificate or birth certificate), translated into English, if the travelers are family members.
  • Copies of previous visas (Schengen or others)
  • Two recent personal photos (white background, size 3.5 × 4.5 cm) for each applicant.
  • Appointment confirmation letter.
  • Recent Exit and Re-entry Visa.

The visa processing time is usually between 7 to 15 working days after the appointment, but it may vary depending on the embassy’s discretion.

Very important

If the applicant is under 18 years old, unemployed, or does not have a bank account where the salary is deposited, a first-degree relative must act as the financial sponsor. The sponsor must provide a bank statement for the last six months showing regular salary deposits, along with a salary certificate attested by the Chamber of Commerce if employed in the private sector.
